Product Description:
Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father—the one responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unholy partnership.
In exchange for finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner—are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn't have to be all bad. But before she can enjoy her newfound status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side . . . and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.

The good news, or better yet, GREAT news, is that this is one of the best books/series I've read in the urban/adult romance/action/suspense/vampire category (guess that covers it!...oh yeah, plus humor!). I'm writing this review after reading all 4 books in this series. And they are simply great. After reading other book series that I really enjoyed very much (Sookie-Southern Vampire & Midnight Breed), this is my top pick (Sookie's a very close second)....very easy to read & fast paced - makes them hard to put down!
Now for the bad news....everything else pales in comparison. I've been sampling books for a week now on my Kindle and I can't find anything that draws me in like this book/series. And I'm getting a little frustrated! So might as well write a review....or maybe I'll just reread this series! Hum, that's a thought!

I love love love this series. Frost has done an amazing job with this series, and I love the love story. I am an abid fan of various romance series such as BDB by JR Ward, True Blood, A Midnight Breed,Dark Hunter Series, and Lords of the Underworld. This is definately at the top of my list...although all of these series are. I love that there is finally a female lead, and that this series focuses on one relationship as opposed to many different relationships.
Frost paints a vivid picture of this world, and I find that it is easy to escape into this world as you feel very much a part of it as you read. The romance is fantastic...the action is nonstop, an it is a great engaging, page turning, series!

I read the whole series (first 4 books plus the story in UNBOUND) in about 5 days. I got nothing else done. I am an avid reader, and love urban fantasy. But this series was my favorite! It's exciting, has romance, betrayal, heartbreak, action, battle scenes, suspense, and main characters you root for. LOVED IT!!!!! I can't wait for her to write more!

Not your average vampire love story - a bit grittier than most and she's one tough heroine. You will be happy if you are looking for a character that can kick the butts of most men and still look sexy doing it. She's rocking and the main man keeps her on her toes.

I have never been motivated enough to write a review on any book until I read this series. After finishing the Sookie Stackhouse series I was searching for something that would keep me occupied until the next book in the series came out. On the advise of book forum I found this series. After reading the first few pages of the first chapter online I was already hooked. The writing style and dialogue Frost uses is neither repetitive or pulpy, as I've noticed other writers from this genre use. Her use of description is also quite impressive. After reading the first book I found myself desperate to find out what happens next, and I quickly tracked down the remaining 3 books. The whole series is fast passed, romantic, action filled, and has a refreshing new take on vampires. The only bad thing I can say is that the author decided to write a few spin-offs from this series instead of writing the 5th book. Keep'em coming please..
