I've seen some bad reviews on this book and can't figure out what everyone's problem is. These people seem to think that they're intellectually superior and have to pick apart Diana's writing from all sorts of angles. For crying out loud, just relax and enjoy a good book! (That is the objective here, isn't it?)

I love the Claire and Jaimie series. Each one is as good as the last. Amazing in-depth characters, I cherish each book in this series. The Fiery Cross was as fantastic as all the previous ones! Each one leaves me wanting MORE MORE MORE!

The entire series of books by Gabaldon are great. The writing is rich and the characters very compelling. Strongly recommend.

Based on the previous books in the Outlander series, I couldn't wait to get this one.... And then once I got it I couldn't wait for it to be over! So boring, so tedious... I swear Claire spent 100 pages just trying to get some coffee made. I've heard the next one is better, but I'm not sure I can start it based on my Fiery Cross experience.
