This is an amazing step into the Holy Lands. It makes history and "His Story" come into focus. I can't wait to see the next one. I am ordering every one made and will be sharing them with family and friends. The visuals are splendid. The lectures memorable. I won't be able to travel to the Holy Lands, so this is the next best opportunity for me.

Ever wonder what it means to "sit in the gate?" What about seeing where David fought Goliath? This video makes all of those wonderful stories in the Bible come to life by seeing where they took place. It helps increase understanding by learning cultural and societal issues related to geography. You can see why God promised land that the Children of Israel gave up and the consequences of the decisions. I also like the fact that there are several separate topics, allowing you to use them for home study, one topic at a time. Each is about 30 minutes in length. Highly recommend this and other DVDs in the series.

Our family used this guide with the DVD. We read the Bible verses suggested in the guide, then watched the DVD lesson, and then went through the questions in the guide. It was a very helpful addition to the DVD lesson, and brought even greater meaning to this wonderful DVD Bible study series.
