This was a good book about a werewolf who finds his mate when he's only looking for a good time. Although they'd known each other through mutual friends the hero and heroine in this story don't get together immediately because he think she's a geek and she thinks he's out of her league. Like most true life love stories Graham never really noticed Missy because she's quiet and goes unnoticed by him because you never notice a good thing that's right under your nose. Until a fateful night at a party; when she dresses up for a blind date and he's bored with his playboy ways; when he catches a irressistible scent and the hunt is on. A wonderful story that could happen in real life if only werewolves were real......

Sexy and sassy, "Big Bad Wolf" was a superbly fun, quick read. Perfect for indulging fantasies while laying on the beach or beside the fire in winter, this novel of paranormal kink definitely piqued my interest in the other writings of Christine Warren.

I purchased this book becasue a lot of the reviewers indicated that it was better than the original. Ms. Warren did expand and add addtional scenes which i thought were great but she also took out some scenes which I thought were good scenes, including one of my favorites

I've found The Others series to be hit and miss, mostly pretty good but some not as good. This installment I think is a good one--an entertaining, light read. It's in the same supernatural world as the other books with the fantasy fix friends, which is good. And for the most part, I also like the characters.
Now for the annoying stuff. I didn't get some of the things Graham did as Alpha. They didn't fit his character. He was being challenged by his cousin Curtis; over and over again Curtis showed his disprespect to his Alpha. The first thing Curtis did, the Alpha should have retaliated and reined him in. But instead he just kept letting Curtis get away with more and more B.S. It really made no sense, because he had been portrayed as being a strong, tough Alpha. Another thing that didn't make sense was that he was in a wedding party with Missy, so they had had quite a few interactions over a six month period. But yet when he sees and smells her at this latest party, suddenly he realizes she's his fated mate? That makes no sense. His sense of smell was described as highly developed, so he should have smelled her as they walked down the aisle or at one of the earlier parties. Yes, I understand Ava dressed her in a sexy dress but one sexy dress wouldn't make a difference to the smell which is supposedly how he recognized her. through to this installment.

My favorite "fairytale" story or conceit is Beauty and the Beast, and Graham's lupine "beastly" qualities are on display in this delightful story, and his job is cut out for him convincing Missy that she is his "Beauty."
Missy doesn't think she's beautiful; she feels like a plain, boring kindergarten teacher. But Graham thinks that she is beautiful and luscious and makes her believe it, which is fantastic and my favorite kind of love story to read!
Being new to the paranormal world and slowly dipping a foot in, I find this story really great and the writing well-done. Thanks for a great read!
