Product Description: Brodie Hayes is a former rodeo star, now a rancher--a cowboy, through and through. But when he finds out some shocking news about the circumstances of his birth, he begins to question his identity. Luckily, private investigator Alexandra Donovan is there to help him find the truth about who he is. Along the way, he discovers that even a man who thought he'd be alone for the rest of his life can fall in love.
For Brodie, love was something you did once--and for always. But is Alex the type of woman who can take on a stubborn man like him? Because there's one thing about him that will never change, no matter what they find out about his past--once a cowboy, always a cowboy.

This was predictable but still enjoyable. I wouldn't mind reading about the "Cowboys" but I doubt I would purchase the sequels.

I got this as a free download. I Loved reading this book..I'm a fan of any Cowgirl and Cowboy romance novels. Certainly helped pass the time on a dreary day. Will purchase this authors books in the future.

For a free download, this was a good short story. I would probably not pay for this author as the writing was less refined that I like, but the story was okay.

The story line is different and has fascinating possibilities. Unfortunately this author did not fully develop them. Complex emotions and situations that a more skilled writer would have examined in depth were given at best one or two sentencs by this author. What a shame. This could have been a five star novel. Aswritten it only rates three stars and one of those is for being a free Kindle book.

This book is on the order of a Harlequin romance. When you have read one, you have read them all. It is a good story to read when you don't have to use your brain. Sometimes you just don't want to think.
