Editorial Review:
Product Description: Cole Westmoreland always gets what he wants! What the former Texas Ranger wanted was sultry Patrina Forman. But Patrina was set against falling for a man with a no-strings attitude, and there was no way she'd fall into bed with a lawman!
Then a Montana blizzard changed everything. Trapped together for three sinfully delicious nights, Cole soon had Patrina singing a different tune thanks to his brand of red-hot seduction. But what would happen once the thaw arrived?

For a true, die-heart romantic this book was just what I needed to pull me out of my reading slump. Cole had me wishing I was Patrina for just one night. Loved this book as always with anything by Brenda Jackson. Good, Fast read

This was the second novel of Jackson's that I took the liberty of reading. It had as little depth as the book I previously read (Irresistible Forces) and mirrored the plot to make this book annoyingly predictable. The ending in both books was so similar, it tempted me not to bother finishing the story of Cole. The prose was too simple and few characters in either book were likable. The book moved in the wrong order, making descriptions of family boring at best. I've since moved on to novels with prose that blows Brenda out of the water. I will no longer bother picking up any of her books for I fear the next will be exactly like the last: stupidly predictable and unrealistic.

I love the Westmoreland Family. The book was very romantic and you don't want to put it down, but I think it could have been longer. When it really started getting good the book was over.

I agree with the reviewers that this is not up to Ms Jackson's good standards. As a veteran in this genre this is not the work of someone with her experience. If it was ghost written it explains the lack of a believeable plot. I know this is fantasy but good fantasy gives the impression that the characters could be real (Ms Bryd and Ms Washington, are excellent at this). For the sake of continuing the series and not missing one of the books borrow rather than buy.

I'm an avid fan of Brenda Jackson and though Cole's pursuit may be a turn off for some in real life, he is hot and irresistable on the pages of a fiction romance novel. I highly recommend this book.
