Editorial Review:
Product Description: Kate had learned certain lessons as Drake Daniels's lover: Lesson number one: the price of loving Drake was not to love him. Lesson number two: never give him what he expected. Discovering she was pregnant certainly fulfilled lesson number two. Drake had made it clear commitment and children were not on his menu. Now Kate must break her news. But when she sees Drake, passion kicks in, begging to be indulged again... just once!

Kate plays the lead in Susan Napier's book Price of Passion, and she is one of the best leads to be featured in the genre. On her way to deliver the news of her pregnancy to her lover, Drake Daniels, she is struck with confusion as to the best way to break the news. While this should be a joyous time, her and Drake are still rather distant emotionally. She wants the baby...he does not. Drake is your typical Harlequin hero, and while he does care for Kate, he hasn't allowed the relationship to get serious. As such, when Kate finds her way on the same beach as Drake, he doesn't believe her "just a coincidence" story, especially since she is in the room next door. Eventually Drake learns the truth and a flood of memories come rushing back that only serve to haunt him. The story is good, the characters are well-developed and break the mold of the typical romance couple. Overall, the book was a fun, light easy breeze that satisfied my inner cravings. Another great book I would highly recommend is JoAnna Wylde's Price of Price of Pleasure: Price of Pleasure or Price of Freedom: Price of Freedom both are guilty pleasures that you don't want to miss.

She's reuniting with a long lost love, and now she could be pregnant!
Story idea is fun, slightly stunted reading though, could have used a little more editing. It's my first Harlequin Presents, I'll probably be reading more...

I'm always up for a little brain candy and this one delivered. It was fun, it was cute, a quick read that wasn't heavy. I enjoyed it.

It was okay..Certainly a good read but the story seemed predictable and unbeliavable..But overall it was so and so.

Overall, a good story. Light read, good for on the beach or at the gym. Ends a tad abruptly, and leaves you wondering what became of the characters' situation. I would certainly recommend this as a fun, easy-to-get-into book.
