Editorial Review:
Product Description: Montana Territory in 1883 was a dangerous place--especially for a blind woman struggling to make her way through an early winter snowstorm. Undaunted, Noelle Kramer fought to remain independent. But then a runaway horse nearly plunged her into a rushing, ice-choked river, before a stranger's strong, sure hand saved her from certain death.
And yet this was no stranger. Though she could not know it, her rescuer was rancher Thad McKaslin, the man who had once loved her more than life itself. Losing her had shaken all his most deeply held beliefs. Now he wondered if the return of this strong woman was a sign that somehow he could find his way home.

If you're the type of person that enjoys reading the same descriptions countless times, likes "duh", predictable moments...
Read this.
Otherwise? Steer clear. It's one of those books that while reading it...you can't wait for it to be over. If I were capable of not finishing a book, I would have stopped after the first few pages--instead, I kept telling myself it had to get better.
It doesn't.
Don't bother.

This story came out of a good plot idea; it just had the great misfortune of coming out wrong. The leading female character is blind, which adds a different twist to the same ol, same ol of historical fiction. The only problem is that after the first 20% of the book was over I was baffled at what the rest of the book would have to say (and indeed it had nothing more to say). I was also frustrated at how the main characters kept spending time together only to part sadly for 'what never could be'. I think if this story had some subplots going on it could have justified the length, but there just wasn't enough story here for as many pages as are in this book.

I got this book free on the kindle and was pleasently surprised! This is a sweet romance, real wholesome and refreshing. I look forward to reading more novels by Miss Hart.

I thought this was such a sweet story! I loved the gentle personalities of the characters. As I was reading, I begin to imagine what it would be like to be blind to try to understand Noelle's thinking. I just really enjoyed this sweet story!

I liked this book because there was no bad language and explicit sex scenes in it. I could let a young teen read it with no fear. It was quaint and a sweet romantic love story. It showed no matter what your handicap you can find someone to love you for who you are.
