Product Description:
Unexpected Desire... It's been ten years since clean-cut, sexy-as-hell police officer Todd Keenan had a white-hot fling with Erin Brown, the provocative, wild rocker chick next door. Their power exchange in the bedroom got under his skin. But love wasn't in the cards just yet... Now, life has thrown the pair back together. But picking up where they left off is tough, in light of a painful event from Erin's past. As Todd struggles to earn her trust, their relationship takes an unexpected and exciting turn when Todd's best friend, Ben, ends up in their bed--and all three are quite satisfied in this relationship without a name. As the passion they share transforms Erin, will it be enough to help her face the evil she thought she had left behind?

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Laid Bare
One of the most enjoyable book ever read. Author really knows how to put a story together. This is the first time for me to read a book of this category and I'm glad I chose Lauren Dane's book. Good writing.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A Highly Erotic Love Story
I think it goes without saying (but I'll say it anyway) that all of Lauren Dane's covers are amazing. I love it when a cover actually reflects the characters described in the book and they got it right on this one for sure. The hair, the tat--perfect. That is definitely my Erin and the lovely gentleman with her could be my Todd or Ben.

I loved the well developed characters and relationships in this story but Erin, by far, was my favorite. She is bold, self assured and completely comfortable in her skin. Although vulnerable and emotionally fragile after a heartbreaking loss that might have ruined some women, Erin is a survivor. She is strong, and not so foolish as to think she can recover from her loss alone. She embraces her relationships and calls on their strength to support her through the delicate process of healing and reconciliation.

It took me a little longer to read this book than usual. Not because it was a particularly long book, but mostly because I felt like I needed to let my eyebrows grow back between reading sessions. Yes, it was that hot! But beyond a highly erotic read this was a story about love, relationships, raw emotion and sexuality, grief and reconciliation. I think one of the things I liked best was the strong family relationships. So many times we see broken heroes or heroines with little or no family ties forced to turn to their romantic relationships for support. It was refreshing to read about good strong supportive families dealing with the unexpected curve balls life inevitably throws.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Very good read
I'm a huge fan of LD's Federation series so I wanted to read something else of hers. This book started off slow with a whole mess of background story in the beginning but the rest of the book is soooooooooo worth it because the characters truly come to life. I recommend this book and the interesting twist because it's soooooooooo hot!!!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Was not expecting this
This is my first book that I've read for Lauren Dane and i have to say that i really like her work. I liked all the characters and i will definitely read Brody and Adrian's stories when they come out. As sex scenes go, these were intense and i did enjoy them.
The only problem i had was i thought that once they brought Ben into their relationship(which i was a little surprised, but not disappointed), i thought that it would just be a threesome thing and then Ben would eventually find someone else and move on. I was not expecting all three of them deciding on a long term commitment. Todd and Erin are married so how does Ben fit in here? I would think that he would constantly feel like the third wheel no matter how much Todd and Erin told him they loved him. I just don't see it lasting. What happens when they have children? And that's something that Ben's mom addressed in the book and Ben said that the kids would be both Todd and his. Well no, they wouldn't for the fact that two men can't make a baby together. A baby would either be Ben's or it would be Todd's. What happens when this child grows up around that atmosphere. What do you tell the child when it asks why he or she has two dads?
I would have enjoyed this book more, if they had some fun with Ben, but eventually Todd and Erin would just want to be with each other and Ben would move on to someone else, but they still would remain close.
I know it's just a story and if there are actual triad's out there in reality, then i wish them luck. But as for me, it's hard enough to stay in a relationship with one person, let alone two. I have never tried a threesome though it does sound interesting, but sometimes i think it's better to just keep some things a fantasy because if you do make it a reality, it might not be what you thought it would be, and also it might ruin your relationship you have now. I am just happy being with my guy and i don't feel a need to get another guy involved with that, i would think that it would break the bond i already have with my boyfriend, and i wouldn't want to ever do that.
Like i said, i like her writing and i will read more of her stories, but in reality i just don't see these characters living happily ever after.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Way too long
The book could have ended about midway through. It seems the author brought in details from tangets that were not relavent to the three people who formed the primary focus of the plot. These tangets did not contribute to the understanding of the relationship between Erin Brown - the rock star victim of a stalker, Todd Keenan - the ex cop who returns to Seatle after being shot on duty in Bostom and Todds best friend, Ben. Why does the author bring in Ben's previous girl friend? Or the parole hearing for Erin's attacker? In my opinion, the book lost the excitment before page 200.

There is a bit of interesting interaction between Ben and Todd as they explore a male/male relationship that was a surprise to Todd. Is male on male the new trend in menage? Or has it always been there?
