I have never really considered a massage that erotic, but I haven't given one to a guy like Nathan, either. Having said that, let me just say this was one of the best erotic reads I have read in some time. There was also romance involved, too, and that made it all the "sweeter." I liked the cat and mouse vibe, too, which added to the sensual suspence that this novel offers. It was a great read and I'd say anyone interested in erotic reading will like this as well. Additionally, I recommend Breaking the Girl and Eager to Please: Two Erotic Novels of Submission.

I am so hooked on these guys! I love the dynamics of all the characters and different approaches to getting what they want. It's so real and awesome that the friends allow each other to be who they are and love them unconditionally. I am excited for the next book in this series.

I enjoyed revisiting with past characters, but the story about Julie and Nathan just didn't quite do it for me. The first part of the book, with the two menages, were extremely hot. After that, the best part was finding out what was going on in everyone's lives, especially Micah. All in all, it was good if you are keeping up with the characters, as I am. I just wish that so many aspects of these stories didn't remind me so much of Lora Leigh's Bound Hearts series. Major portions of the stories are like deja' vu, or been there read that.

Ms. Banks' latest book made me do something I have never done before - go back and re-read a chapter! Julie, Micah and Nathan's erotic moment was sensual and unforgetable. The story is tastefully done!

I received this book as a gift from a well-meaning friend. She hadn't read it or she would have known this book would set me off. I am a certified massage therapist and this author has thoroughly trashed my profession and has set it back about 50 years. Certified, licensed and registered massage therapists have fought hard through lobbying Congress and working with state governments to develop training programs, testing and licensing to ensure massage is not thought of as a sleazy, back-alley cover for prostitution. We are governed by a Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice that are taken seriously by every massage therapist because we can lose our licenses for any violation. In our Code of Ethics, number 14 states, "Refrain, under all circumstances, from initiating or engaging in any sexual conduct, sexual activities, or sexualizing behavior involving a client, even if the client attempts to sexualize the relationship unless a pre-existing relationship exists between an applicant or a practitioner and the client prior to the applicant or practitioner applying to be certified by NCBTMB."
I am wondering if Ms. Banks did any research for this book; I highly doubt it. If the female protagonist had been a certified massage therapist licensed by her state, she would never have slept with her client. Even when she started thinking about his body as a sex object, she would have terminated the massage. It is up to us to maintain boundaries with our clients and that means not jumping them because they have nice bodies. This book has done nothing for massage therapy but made it out to be sleazy, unethical and sex-crazed. I hate having to constantly field questions about "happy endings" in a massage (a behavior in which the female protagonist engaged and by the way, is against the law in my county) and this book just made it worse. I hope anyone who has received a therapeutic massage understands that this is not the way we do business. Next time, Ms. Banks, please do your research and represent your characters correctly.
