This is a book everyone should read. It makes you think if this type of saturation of high fat food will have on the future of the health of the children. What will this mean for the health insurance industry in the future? It is in bad shape now. How will people pay for all the health problems these foods cause in the future?

This book misses the charm and humour that made Fast Food Nation such an interesting read. This book is just a droning anti-corporate rant that takes itself far to seriously.

This book is an outstanding read for young people and others of the Fast Food Generations. It is easy to read and amazing enough to be a fun read.
Confidentially, this book also teaches thoughtful reading and annotation skills. It helps a younger reader learn how to decide if information is reliable or just hot air.
Recommended for readers from age 12 to 100.

My kids brought this one home and I read it after them. Fascinating and horrifying. We don't eat much fast food in our family, but I think when given a choice I'll be steering away from meat from giant meatpackers...

I just wanted to say that I picked up this book not because I wanted a negative thought about fast food. I picked up this book just out of curiousity, and wonder if it's one of those books which only says why fast food is bad in health, which are pretty common in my health period. I was partially right. Chew On This isn't just a book which you don't want to know about fast food, it's almost anything you don't want to know which are related to fast food. From what soda does to america to the production of meat, Chew On This is really something that trys to convince you to make better decisions on eating fast food by also showing you some facts which aren't just health issues, but also buisness and production.
I really like what the book's audience is. The book is pretty easy to read, even a fourth grader can easily read it and mostly understand it. According to the book, students and kids are the best customers for fast food restaurants, which is probably why the book's audience are students and children.
The only problem I have on this book is that it has so much information that it will easily have some students get lost. Some students also might say that some of the facts which it was widely explained are unecessary for making decisions of fast food.
Overall, it's a good book. It shows you- not only why fast food is bad in health- but bad in the world and business.
