What to Expect When Your Wife is Expanding: A Reassuring Month-by-Month Guide for the Father-to-Be, Whether He Wants Advice or Not
Rating:5 out of 5 stars - Must have for expecting fathers
I read this book when my wife was pregnant a few years back. When our friends found out they were expecting, I knew he had to have a copy of this book for himself.

This is a must read for any expecting father.

Rating:5 out of 5 stars - Hahahaha
This book is hilarious for men and women. I laughed so hard but also took a lot of factual imformation from it. I appreciate the cost analysis of each month, very neat.

Rating:1 out of 5 stars - BIG BAD JOKE
This is NOT the kind of book a responsible father would read. This book expose the bad things of pregnancy and fatherhood. I don't recommend this book at all. Please look somewhere else if you are really interested in how you can help your wife during this important phase.

Rating:5 out of 5 stars - Must-have for Dads-to-be with a sense of humor!
This book is just what I was looking for! It lets my husband and I both laugh about what could otherwise be a frightening, exciting, overwhelming time. I recommend this book for anyone who doesn't take themselves too seriously and is willing to laugh about the (sometimes) undignified side-effects of pregnancy.

Rating:4 out of 5 stars - Funny But More is Needed
Hill provides a very funny step by step look at the world of pregnancy but he stops a bit too soon for my liking. The majority of the book deals with the period up to the birth and that is great. When he gets to the first few weeks after the birth at page 115, it is quite short. A little more is devoted to life with the baby but I was again wanting more.

While this is a funny book that does help lighten the seriousness that first time parents feel, I thought that The Dysfunctional Father's Guide to Pregnancy Birth and Babies gave me a bit more. That book covers a much wider period of time going up to the "disaster" of the first birthday party. Before that, we learn about attempts to lose the weight gained during pregnancy, fun ways fathers can employ to avoid odious chores and more than we want to know about circumcision and vasectomies.

Both books together provide a comprehensive look at this exciting period in the life of couples.
