I read this novel because of the reviews and it was free. I like Ms. Monroe but I only read God Don't Like Ugly in the series.I did not like any of these characters, Annette and Rhoda are definitely not the norm. By this ending could this mean the end of the God series.

I agree with another reader that had read all the previous GOD series. This was boring and took me a loooooonnnngggng time to finish. I am glad I did not purchase it but instead checked it out from the library. It was so boring and such a hard read that I had to recheck it out to finish it just because I hate to leave anything undone. And I only restarted it 2 days before it was due for the sescond time.
Rhoda's character is still an idiot, screwing her husband's best friend in the laundry room right before he came in. Too close for comfort and that daughter of hers needed to have hands laid on her, BFF or no BFF. If her mother could not keep her in check, then Annette should have been allowed to do what she had to for her own sanity.
Pee Wee was keeping secrets and Annette was not bright enough to know that something was "too good to be true with Slick Willie." And that daggone Crazy Mary is a character by herself. It was nice to catch up on the characters, but I could have went without reading that book. I'll give the others a shot that are not part of the series and see if I can hold onto my love for her writing skills.

I have read the God' Don't like Ugly series , but with the lastest installment, God is not blind. I was truley disappointed with this book. Although, the description of the book (cover) seemed really interesting the actual content was not what I anticipanted. I lost interest in this book really quickly, but I made the mistake to assume if I read another chapter, the book would get better and/or more interesting. I was truley disappoinment with this book.

I really love the "God Don't Like" series, but this one was the worst of the four. It took me two weeks to read this book because I was not feeling it. Her choice of words were so different from the last ones. The plot was okay, but it took too long (the last few chapters) for the point. She could've revealed Pee Wee's secret earlier, and expanded on Louis Baines' motive. If he was indeed up to something, she should've went ahead and put it out there and let that be a part of the story, not the last few chapters, which are short as it is. I am sure she'll probably come out with another "God Don't Like" book, but after this one, I hope she is done.

I just finish listening to this book from audibles. It was quite addicting; partly because Im a nosey person. But the book is about marriage and friendship. It ended it real optimistic way. Hope to hear more from Mary Monroe.
