Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Succinct helpful reviews
This book has short reviews on topical subjects and has been a godsend while studying for exams. Each chapter is about 5-10 pages long and starts with some background information on the incidence and implications of the topic eg preventing perioperative renal dysfunction, perioperative hyperglcemia, optimal treatment for aspiration etc. It will then go on to assess available information on that subject. Each chapter ends with a section on areas of uncertainty followed by the authors recommendations on the topic. Most chapters are about 5-10 pages long and easy to read. Overall the book is also well indexed and well referenced.
