I purely wanted to read this book because of the title. I remember reading "Are you there, God? It's me, Margaret." and it thrilled me to see the title twisted around the way it is. While this book isn't really about anything in particular, it's still pretty entertaining. I'm a little over half way done and my boyfriend keeps looking at me funny as I'm laughing my way through it. If you have a sense of humor about things that aren't nesseccarily "P.C." then this will be the book for you! :)

This book was too funny. I am a fan of the Chelsea Lately show, so I already loved her sense of humor. It will have you laughing out loud!

I was curious after finishing this book how it didn't get 5 stars from everyone who read it. It just comes down to personal taste. For my personal taste, there isn't a funnier read. I had a hard time putting it down. I watch Chelsea Lately periodically, but I am not a huge fan of the show. I am however, a huge fan of Chelsea the author. At one point, I was trying to hold back my laughter to prevent my husband from waking up, but to no avail. I was shaking so hard and the tears were streaming so much, that I couldn't see the book and couldn't contain the sounds. He woke up thinking that I was having an emotional breakdown. He was really pissed off when he realized that it was hysterical laughter, not hysterics. With that all said, this woman is willing to bare herself, her friends, boyfriends, and family in the most unflattering ways imaginable. I LOVED IT, and am incredibly thankful to not be one of them. Her midget fetish is so politically incorrect and so incredibly hilarious. My husband has one too...he's reading this next.

I don't even know how I got into Chelsea handler's comedy. If it were her books first, or her TV show. But I'm leaning more towards her books. Honestly, I'm not big on comedians (Except Mitch Hedberg). I don't take time out of my day to read THEIR books, watch them on HBO or Comedy Central or even rent/buy/listen to their CD's or DVDs.
From reading this book and her previous, I'd have to say that the people to read this and think she is funny, have to have somewhat of a twisted and open minded sense of humor and not for those people that take offense to her sexual and very forward jokes and stories. If you're one of those people, then you probably should do you research, read the reviews and mostly know what kind of mind and sense of humor Chelsea Handler has. NOT buy the book to just leave a bad review even after knowing you have no interest.
I think she is absolutely hilarious! The only thing about the book that disappointed me, is that my friend tore some of the pages. And I'm so disappointed that there aren't any more of her books to read!
