Product Description: Everyone's life is governed by an internal code of conduct. Some call it morality. Others call it religion. But Bros in the know call this holy grail the Bro Code.
Historically a spoken tradition passed from one generation to the next, the official code of conduct for Bros appears here in its published form for the first time ever. By upholding the tenets of this sacred and legendary document, any dude can learn to achieve Bro-dom.

This book was hilarious, as well as as a worthy tie-in to HIMYM. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, but unfortunately, it is really, really short. It takes maybe an hour to breeze through - so for the price, it won't keep you entertained for long.

This was a great book, I was able to read this in one sitting. Basicly the best book you can read in 2 or 3 hours ever made.

The Bro Code is a journey into the insight and genius of Barney Stinson. It is a collection of everything that is known and never said. The book is an adventure into the mind of every man who adhere to a code of ethics that unites us all as Bros. This book should be given to all teens who are having a tough time finding themselves and should be a general education requirement in college. Just like Woman Studies there should be Bro Studies.

A couple co-workers introduced me to this book and read me a couple of the "Articles". I then found out it was written, based on a Character in the sit-com "How I Met Your Mother". I had never seen the show, but the co-workers watched it, as does my Son. Very funny. The book is just a funny, warped look at a pseudo lifestyle that borders on reality (for Bro's that is!). I've since bought 6 copies for Christmas presents for fellow "Bro's". You can't miss with guys from their teens through their '50's.

A warning: If you have never watched HIMYM, this book is not for you, (unless you have a veeery thick skin). In order to really get most of the jokes, let alone not go out and start protesting for women's rights after the first few pages, (not that protesting for women's rights is wrong...) you really should be a fan of the show.
Other than that, although I would have liked to see more new things, instead of a transcription of the show according to Barney. Although old favourites like the crazy/hot scale were back, and were much appreciated. The book is a short read, so when buying it be aware that it's sort of like a children's book in that there are only a few sentences per page, (although the similarties between it and a children's book end there). Still for a HIMYM fan, it's harmless bubblegum fun.
