Lynn Harris have done it again. He will keep you reading until you finishthe book. He is going to be miss greatly. I promise you when you read this book and if you never read any of his books, you will be trying to get your hand on all of his books.

E. Lynn Harris did not disappoint in this book. This is a great book. Just like all of his other books. Unfortunately we may never know what happens next. This book left you wondering a couple of things, but on the outside of that it was wonderful. He will be missed. RIP E. Lynn Harris! God Bless You.

It took awhile to get into because I had to find my place with this book. Too much & too many characters marching around the main character who is actually Yancey. We have the evil mother Ava who is up for some get back. She brings in other people along with her lies to try once again to bring Yancey down. Not realizing it was because of her evil mommy who tormented her in her youth and continues to tear her down, Yancey gives away her child at birth who is now successful. This book proves that Yancey is changeable and Ava is a beyotch to the bone and only looks out for self. Incomplete stories about S. Marcus learning the real truth and who eventually rats out Ava and with what really make this book less credible. The real deal comes about mid-way. Ending was endearing.

I READ LYNN E HARRIS MAMA DEAREST AND I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. I HAVE READ ALL OF HIS BOOKS TO DATE. IN MY OPINION THIS ONE WAS NOT VERY INTERESTING TO ME. I USUALLY READ HIS BOOKS IN TWO DAYS. IT TOOK ME ALMOST A MONTH TO READ THIS ONE.
