Product Description:
The heartwarming sequel to The Secret from bestselling author Beverly Lewis. A painful absence, a desperate heart - is it too late to find Lettie Byler? Grace Byler longs to uncover the secret that drove her mother to leave the family weeks ago. When all hopes are dashed for such a search, an unlikely friendship leads to a surprising invitation. Meanwhile, the young Amish man Grace thought was courting her best friend takes a sudden interest in her, and Grace’s decision to remain single is challenged even as her determination to find her mother grows.

Great Book! Beverly Lewis is a great author!
I have most all of her books regarding the Amish and I love the way she writes! Makes you think you are right there in the middle of things. If a book "moves" me, they are great writers and Beverly Lewis fits the bill!
My ancestors are "Pennsylvania Dutch" as my dad always said and they were from Lancaster County. Makes me wonder if any of them were Amish... Maybe someday I will find that out.

The second book in the Seasons of Grace series ties up some loose ends from book one but leaves you wanting more answers to be solved in book three (not available until 4/2010). It was fast moving and a very good story that both my husband and I have enjoyed. We have read all of Beverly Lewis' Amish Novels and love them all. She never disappoints.

I have to agree with other reviewers of being frustrated with the ending. It leaves you hanging again. I love Lewis, and have enjoyed everything she has written so far. I have enjoyed this story and we will have to wait and see how it ends, and find out if as I predict that Heather is Grace's half sister.

Beverly Lewis has captured life with the Amish in her usual down-to-earth style. The reader is taken into the home and life of the families involved and becomes the "mouse in the corner." The characters are all believable and their faults and fears are clearly revealed.

I have read many of this author's books and liked them. This one left me hanging. It was a good story but had too many characters to follow. And the ending just left the reader hanging there. It need less characters and an ending, no matter what the outcome would be.
