Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Together they find a special love-can it survive the threat stalking her? Some small towns grow really good looking men! This is the case with the four Chase brothers. The home grown hotties are on the wishlist of every single woman in town and Maggie Wright is no exception. Maggie has finally had it with the men she's been dating but a spilled plate of chili cheese fries drops Shane Chase right into her lap. The sheriff is hot stuff but was burned by a former fiancie and is quite happy to play the field. After Shane's skittishness sends him out the door, Maggie realizes that Kyle Chase has had his eye on her from the start. Now that Shane has messed up, Kyle has no intention of letting anything stop him from wooing her right into his bed. Despite Maggie's happiness and growing love with Kyle, a dark shadow threatens everything-she's got a stalker and he's not happy at all. In the end, Maggie will need her wits, strength and the love of her man to get her out alive. Warning, this title contains the following: explicit sex, graphic language, and some violent situations.

Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Easy read, but can be crude
This book was a very easy read, but predictable. There wasn't much of a plot, I could have told you the entire plot about 10 pages in, so there weren't really any surprises. It did have quite a few explicit scenes in it that I thought were done pretty crudely and I found myself scrolling past quite a few pages to skip over them to get back to the plot. Maybe there are people who really talk like that, but I didn't care to read about it. It was ok, but I'm very glad it was free!

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - I don't get it
When I saw the glowing reviews for this book, I thought it would be a good read. How wrong I was! Cardboard, cartoonish, one-dimensional characters drawn in black and white. Developments and resolutions I could see coming a mile away. Give this book (and probably its author) a miss.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Amazing
At the beginning of reading this book; i was doubtful . As soon as i got into it. i read the whole book in one day. i couldn't leave it. I really Enjoy it. I hope You do too. :)

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Disappointing the more I read
"Mary Sue" with an inferiority complex and so quickly goes from bookish history teacher (that we never hear much about other than she spends alot of time baking for others) to sex kitten that everyone except her mother and sister and the town bimbos love, Maggie is a flat character without much substance. She's perfect in every other way except for having an atrocious childhood that didn't seem to have much affect on her personality except when needed to give her a slight inferiority complex that she quickly overcomes by standing up for herself for the first time out of no where and by getting a makeover? Now suddenly the hottest guys in town are all fawning over her and one becomes a stalker? Puhlease!

It's too bad because the writing and dialogue weren't too bad to start with, but the longer the book went, the more glaring the lack of good editting and writing became. The characters became flat and predictable and one dimensional, and even Kyle was written more like a teenager's unrealistic dream guy that does everything right. This book seemed like it was written by a teenager in many ways.

I don't mind the predictability and the ideas of mousy girl turns into a desirable woman that one man falls in love with, but there was too much in this book that was shallow, contrived and unbelievable that made it harder and harder to read. Too bad as it had a lot of potential.

The only really good parts of the book were the sex scenes (with safe sex too).

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Couldn't even finish
I love romance novels, and the description of the Chase Brothers series got my attention. Unfortunately, the writing style and dialogue was so painful to read, I had to stop after the first couple of chapters. I'm sure the storyline is good, since there are so many positive reviews, but I couldn't stand the way the book was written.
