Rating: - Very good quality
The tape is perfect and I received it promptly. I'll do business again.
Rating: - Paul Simon and Ladysmith Black Mombazo
If you like Paul Simon, you'll like this. I bought the album because I'm taking 225 music students to see Ladysmith Black Mombazo live in March, 2009 and wanted to get them familiarized with their music before we go. The kids' reactions are mixed, but I love watching and listening to them.
Rating: - Live Performance Classic!
If you cannot find something to like in this concert, you probably don't like music. African rhythms, blues, jazz, rock, it's all there! The band is quite simply fantastic and Paul Simon's songs are among his best. Add Ladysmith Black Mambazo to the mix and you have a show that you wish you had been fortunate enough to see in person. I have only one complaint. Why isn't it longer?
Rating: - Wonderful Music
Paul Simon's music from the Graceland CD was excellently done. The music from African musicians was wonderful. The highlight for me was hearing Miriam Makeba sing in her native land in her native language. Miriam's comment on returning home was heartwarming.
Rating: - Paul Simon's African concert
Although more than a decade old, I adore this concert. The music is fantastic. Seeing and hearing Hugh Masekela and Miriam Makeba is an extra.
Great music.
