My daughter loves the game. She is not a fan of the new PETZ games, since they were bought out and changed a few years ago. This game is in the style of the original games, so she thought it would be fun. It is fun, problem was that it is old software, not meant to run on Vista. She downloaded a patch to help it to run, overall it is running alright, except she cannot get into the kitchen aspect of the game. She is trying to work out the kinks, but is still enjoying the game!

I purchased this game for my daughter and she absolutely loves it, just like she loves the Dogz and Catz games. She has the greatest fun putting her babies in the room and letting them play, taking care of them, feeding them, putting them down for a nap. She loves the realistic sounds they make and gets worried when they get ill and she can't make them better right away. My only gripe with the game is that the sounds don't work in XP; you have to turn them off or the game/computer will freeze. Fortunately, I found a patch online that fixes that problem - but I don't think it was a patch supplied by the game maker (in my opinion, they should have provided a fix for this ages ago) and it's why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. But once you have the patch, the game seems to work fine.

Hey, this game is cool, I got it last christmas, but I PLAY ON THE XP!
"how do I do it???" Download a baby on a website-oh, say.....d-r-n.com.
Save it anywhere on your computer, then go to it. click on it, and then click on the file with the picture of the fiile on it, then go back to mycomputer and highlite it. Then right-click on it, and click on extract here. Then copy it and put it in the adopted babyz file. YOU GOT IT DONE! But when you play, turn off the sound-or else...it'll crash.
To get sound, search Petz on google, snd go to the one that says, "sherlock software---petzA" And download away, you'll get sound if you play on xp!!!

Okay.... im 13 and this has to be byfar the best game i have evr played! i wish i could still play it. i now have a XP. bummer. but hey if you got 95 or 98 go for it!

Babyz is so fun. It's like baby dolls for big kids. The only thing is, it doesn't work on all computers, which makes me mad because this is one of the best games I've played!
