If the party is over but there's still some wine left, don't worry about the vino losing its flavor and freshness: use these handy stainless-steel wine savers. Just place the wine saver on top of the opened bottle and push the lever down. The black rubber "cork" is pulled up against the sides of the bottle, forming a seal. The lever will then rest out of the way against the bottle. To unseal, simply flip the lever up and pull the wine saver out of bottle. Comes in a set of two, for when you've opened both red and white wine. --Doree Armstrong

I wasn't impressed with this item. When you look at the picture, it looks like a decent quality product, but its made farily cheap. I went to use one for the first time, and the black piece cracked and it was useless after that. The second one got only a few uses out of it before the metal piece bent and was also useless. I dont recommend this product at all.

These items worked for about 4 times each. The plastic insert on the top that the metal lever rocks on to seal or unseal the stopper broke on both stoppers. The metal on the lever actually cuts into the plactic insert when you push it down to seal the bottle - cutting the plastic insert in half. When the plactic insert breaks, you can not seal the bottle. Don't waste you money. This product needs to be re-engineered.

These cheap plastic pieces of junk are not worth anything. Avoid them at all cost.

They are convenient to have if you cook with wine and have a few bottles open at the same time. Very durable.

I rarely write reviews, but this product was really awful: flimsy; and the levers broke off on first use. The plastic ones I bought at Williams-Sonoma a few years ago were MUCH better, but I couldn't find them anymore, so I thought I'd try these. I'd give them a negative star rating if I could. Do NOT waste your money.
