This seven-piece bar set includes everything a home bartender needs to start mixing and entertaining. Boasting a contemporary German design, the set is made entirely of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel and is bound to impress your guests by appearance alone. For making hard alcohol drinks, the kit includes a jigger for measuring out shots, a strainer for pouring mixed drinks while leaving the ice behind, and a stirrer for perfectly blending alcohol with tonic, juice, or soda. The set also includes a bottle opener for beer or carbonated water and an all-purpose bar knife for puncturing cans or cutting the foil off of wine bottles. I purchased this item with my credit card points, because I was not sure if it would be a good use of money otherwise; now that I have one, I can say it would definitely be a good purchase.
The set is great to look at and makes me laugh. You can pick up a shaker at a restaurant supply store for under $4.00, so it did not bother me that one was missing in this set.
*side note - the wmf sticker was extremely annoying to remove from the top of the holding tray.

Very cool looking design and high quality!! Each tool is heavy and made to last, and has a good feel when using them. The jigger is very convenient to use since it is attached to a rod. I haven't seen it designed this way before, but it sure works well (just pour and twist!) The spring on the strainer seems extra fine, and thus allows less small chips of ice through than the average. The ice bucket is on the small side, and will need to be refilled frequently if you're making a lot of drinks, but it sure looks good! All-in-all great quality, functional, and artisticly designed to be a great conversation piece. Everything you need to set up a home bar except a shaker set.
