Mounted one on my Bike and my Son's bike. The mount was easy and we just our time to find geocache's in half.

As stated in many other reviews the new battery back mount won't fit on Micro SD Garmins without altering it yourself. But the part that attaches to your bicycle works great. My Garmin came with a screw-on attachment so I didn't need the new back and everything worked out fine.
If you have the little screw on mount that should have come with Garmin originally then this mount will work for you, if not don't bother.

My Garmin eTrex Vista HCx came with a little screw-on quick release bracket that attaches to the back of the GPS battery cover, so I don't need to change out the battery cover. All I needed to order was the handlebar mount, shown to the right of the replacement cover in the photo, at a lower price. Garmin calls it a rail mount adaptor. It is available in two sizes, I ordered the smaller size (part number 010-10496-01) to fit my mountain bike handlebar. I also have a road bike with a thicker handlebar that would take the large size if I decide to mount my GPS to that bike (called the 'large diameter rail mount', part number 010-10496-00). Both rail mount adaptors are currently available on Amazon. Look in the box your GPS came in and see if there is a screw-on clip, it screws into the round metal piece just above the battery cover attachment ring. From what I have read in these reviews, this replacement cover won't fit the 'Vista HCx' anyway, but the handlebar mount piece will still fit the quick release!
