Product Description: Georgeous bimbos backstabing producers wanna-be stars and sloshed waiters are just some of the characters at hollywood mogul fred clutterbucks party-an affair that dissolves into a wild frenzy of pratfalls and punchlines. Amazon.com: Though this film is a relatively minor one in the massive canon of Peter Sellers, it has moments of absolute hilarity. Written and directed by Blake Edwards, one of Sellers's most fertile collaborators, the film stars Sellers as a would-be actor from India (let them try to get away with that today) who is a walking disaster area. After ruining a day's shooting as an extra on a film, he finds himself unintentionally invited to a big Hollywood party. That's pretty much it as far as plot goes, but Edwards and Sellers know how to milk a simple idea for an unending string of slapstick gags. The result is a film that is episodic and sketchy, but also frequently loony in an inspired way. --Marshall Fine

Rating: - Classic Peter Sellers
Get the popcorn, sit on your favorite sofa and get ready to laugh from begining to end. Peter Seller's best movie. If you like the Pink Panther series, you ain't seen nothing yet. Peter Selles is a comedic genious and will be greatly missed in Hollywood.
Rating: - The Party
I've always enjoyed watching Peter Sellers movies over the years. Somehow I'd completely missed ever seeing "The Party" until I caught the last half on a television channel. The visual jokes soon had me laughing out loud. So I had to order a DVD to see all of it. It did not let me down. Guaranteed to lift you out of your doldrums.
Rating: - Full of laughs
This movie is a classic and very entertaining. Peter Sellers at what he did best in the world of comedy!!
Rating: - Hilarious Peter Sellers!
A typical Peter Sellers vehicle, one laugh after the other! The fun easily compares to his perfect Inspector Clouseau. He is perhaps only rivalled (at least a little) by the poor waiter who drinks so much he can't stand straight anymore. The DVD is worth every cent!
Rating: - Not A Shot In The Dark,But Still Quite Funny.
While This film isn't"A Shot In The Dark",or the other classic "Pink Panther"films from Blake Edwards and Peter Sellers;this is still quite A funny movie.Blake Edwards and Peter Sellers team up again,in this wild comedy.A clumsy,Indian, actor, Hrundi V. Bakshi(Sellers)is accidentally invited to A party, given by A studio mogul, who had early fired Bakshi for destroying A set.Once Bakshi arrives at the party, the fun and pandemonium begins.Sellers shows his comedic skill,in this silly, often hilarious movie. There are many funny moments, including A wild finale, with Sellers flooding the house with Bubblebath Suds.A great comedy, from Sellers and director Blake Edwards.
