Rating: - Why Do They Call It Love When They Mean Sex?
Maybe not as sexy as announced, but very funny and very Almodovar - full of imagination, dark humor, and different. Once who like Spainish and specially Almodovar's movies (and there is a lot of them) will love it for sure!
Rating: - DON'T BE FOOLED BY THIS ONE.....
The cover says "outrageously sexy"...but there's nothing outrageous and very little "sexy" here. Veronica Forque' ("Kika") works in a peep show and gets a new "leading man" and they fall in love. Problems arise with his parents. That's it. Forque' isn't as good as she was in "Kika" and this movie is NO Almodovar. There's only a couple of boob shots here and there and one REALLY ugly stripper later on so don't expect to be titillated. The leading man stays covered too and they expect us to believe that all sex show performers wear leather get-ups. You don't even get to see them perform! It's more like a "girly" show with very little "girly"---you probably see more of the customers than you do of the performers. What was the point here? What audience did the movie have in mind? What really threw me is it's "unrated" but it barely deserves an "R". And it's leading man is handsome but dull as day-old-dishwater. A really stupid movie for the price and a waste of time to watch. Don't bother with this one....
