Solid quality, great tool. This one is great for carrots. WMF makes another profiplus peeler that does a better job for vegetables with uneven surfaces (eg potatoes). That peeler does not have a fixed blade like this one.
Also, the tip of this peeler is great for pulling pomegranate seeds out of their peel.

I actually purchased this peeler at the WMF Factory store in Germany. I absolutely love it. Some people have a hard time getting used to holding the sharp edge at an angle to the food as opposed to flat like traditional peelers, but once you get the motion right, it skims right over anything you need peeling with ease. All the WMF products I have are good, solid products that I believe will last forever!
