While director Norman Jewison's Moonstruck is a romantic cornerstone, this 1994 film is often overlooked. It's a sweet valentine about a young woman, aptly named Faith (Marisa Tomei, never cuter), who chases an unknown man to Europe because the name 'Damon Bradley' was once spelled on an Ouija board as her true love. With her sister-in-law (Bonnie Hunt, whose own marriage seems to be falling apart), she travels the streets of Rome looking for Damon Bradley.
And lo and behold, she literally runs into a man claiming to be Damon. Is this meant to be? Faith certainly thinks so. Robert Downey Jr. (also never cuter) plays Damon in a role that showcases his charms. He shows his quick wit in handing Faith's advances and his absolute devotion to her when the winds change. Despite the cuteness factor, this is a movie to fall in love with. Jewison and Sven Nykvist (Ingmar Bergman's cameraman) present a sun-kissed Italy so beautiful, you might be tempted to hop a plane immediately after viewing the movie. --Doug Thomas

I own this movie, and I bought a copy for my sister. We both love it! Not only the chemistry between Downey Jr. and Marisa Tomey is great, but the setting (Italy, Positano) is enough to rate this movie five stars.

This is a really great romantic comedy. Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr are really on their game in this movie. Also the scenery in Italy is amazing and will make you want to go there!

Who could not love a romantic comedy that takes place in Italy? Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr have very obvious chemistry, and are well matched in this movie. The multiple locations in Italy were breathtaking, and an excellent backdrop.

This was selected because of Amazon "other customers purchased this". I just fell in love with the movie. Great comedy and locations. Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr were on their game. Great chick flick.

A pleasant romantic 90's comedy, Only You, brings to the screen the story of a young woman about to get married who has the opportunity to travel to Italy to see whether an unknown man with a name out of her childhood years could actually be someone worth calling off her wedding for.
Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., Bonnie Hunt (!), Billy Zane, and the rest of the cast carry out their performances very well.
The setting, the plot, the dialogues, the humor, and the music are all good.
In a nutshell, though not a masterpiece it will provide for an evening's entertainment.
