provides the same or better noise reduction than other earmuffs costing 2x-5x the price.
for the person who said it doesn't fit, the size adjusts.

This headset does not fit a larger head and has poor ventilation.
I dropped them to the ground and they fell apart, not good for a product supposed to be of good quality. When working outdoors with noisy equipment you expect a product like this to be able to endure tough treatment. This headset clerly does not live up to the simplest standard.

I bought a new Scag Zero turn mower this year , a commercial unit, to cut my 5 acres. The engine sits right behind you and the foldable roll over protection system is right at ear level. These earmuffs block out enough of the noise but you can still hear just enough to know that the mower is still cutting and what not. These work great for me and makes my mowing time more enjoyable. God I can't believe I'm saying that mowing 5 acres is enjoyable. Buy these, you won't be disappointed.

I work in a noisy datacenter where hearing protection is a must. After breaking a pair of ear muffs with a plastic yoke, I purchased these Peltor Optime 105's. The yoke is made of wire covered in plastic, which lessens the likelihood of a plastic-only yoke breaking. I've only used these for a day but hopefully they will hold up well and be durable. The Peltor Optime 105's are comfortable (worn for a couple of hours) and provide very good sound attenuation. I'd recommend them and purchase them again.

The sound reduction capability of these earmuffs is phenomenal. The protection rating listed on the box is 30 decibels. The price is certainly right.
However, do not buy this product if you wear a ten-gallon hat. Only buy it if you have a half-pint head. The headband is not adjustable and is just too short for a man's head.
Many less expensive, less effective earmuffs have an adjustable headband so that anyone can wear them.
I bought two of these earmuffs. I will keep them and let the women in the family wear them.
I gave it four stars only because of the skimpiness of the headband. Otherwise, these earmuffs are perfect. What a shame! I am disappointed. I wanted to use them, too.
