After several different products that didn't work, or didn't work for long, it's nice to find something that allows me to seal a bottle and put it back in my wine refrigerator lying down, and not have it leak.

Simple to use. Rubber stopper goes in wine bottle - pump goes on top and you pump it to extract air from wine bottle, sealing it until the next use. Keep pumping until you feel resistance. EZ release 'lever' on stopper releases pressure when you're ready to open the bottle again. Wine lasts much longer without compromising quality. Small investment for big savings and preservation of wine.

My wife does not drink wine too often and I don't drink more than one or two glasses a night. Thus I often had wine going to waste after a few days. The Houdini Wine Preserver has definitely extended the period in which I can keep an open bottle. In the past I could tell the difference in taste after two days. With the Houdini I've preserved bottles up to five days with only a slight difference in taste. I'm very happy to have the Metrokan Houdini so that I will rarely have to waste good wine.

I bought the Metrokane Houdini Wine Preserver which is a small pump that uses stoppers. The set has two though I recommend to buy more. It's amazing how nice it is to open wine, NOT feel like 'that one' and then NOT HAVE to drink it because today's inexpensive wines turn ugly too quickly.
Just place a stopper in the bottle, pump a few times and the wine's good for (so far) up to 9 days. It's like we've never opened the bottle.
I have now bought five sets...two for us, and three as gifts (along with the Preserver Pump)...worth every single penny!
I would say forget the wine bag next time you bring wine, and bring a set of these. They are a fabulous gift.

I have used two or three times and the product works. It kept the pressure under the bottle and maintained the wine in good quality. The only bad comment I have is that I expected a strengthen set. It looks fragile the pressure holder and I do not know if it is going to last.
