these work great for occasional use. very sturdy and they did stay up for me, no creep down.

Had to shorten then a little and sewed up the crotch a little and added suspenders now they fit good and work good

Chaps are well made and easy to put on. The price is very reasonable. These chaps increase the safety aspect of operating a chainsaw.

I am 6 feet tall and weigh about 180lbs. Unless you have legs like tree trunks these are simply too big, especially around the legs. The cinch straps wont tighten enough on these meaning they are free to rotate around and leave your legs dangerously exposed. For just a little bit more money you can buy properly fitting Stihl chaps from the store. I wouldn't recommend these to anybody apart from Nellie the Elephant or Dumbo.

Ordered the chaps with the knowledge that one slip with a chain saw would cost a lot more then the chaps not to mention the pain. they arrive promptly and were price well for the product. My son has since bought a pair of chaps from AO safety.
