I have tried many different wine sealers/corks/stoppers and this one by far is the best. It is the only one that I have used that you can return the bottle to a wine fridge, storing the bottle on its side and it doesn't make a mess. I keep a plastic dish under the reds, just in case, but have yet to have one of these spill.

The title says it all. I used it once on a bottle of beer, and when I tried to put it back on, I rotated the top and nothing happened at all. Waste of $8.

We have enjoyed dining with wine daily for years, but we were discouraged there wasn't a way to preserve leftover wine. The sealer is a great way to truly preserve leftover wine for a few days without disappointment!

I received this as a gift, threw it in a drawer and thought no more about it -- until I had an opened bottle of Champagne. I love champagne, my husband will drink one glass and that's it. I remembered this little gadget, and put it to the test. A few days later, poured myself a glass of champagne and was so surprised, and delighted to discover how well this stopper preserved the open bottle! Now I can open a bottle of champagne and enjoy it at my leisure! I'm buying several to have on hand for 'hostess' gifts.

as other reviewers here have written, this is a great wine stopper. however, you absolutely cannot tighten it too much otherwise it will just snap. and snap it will more likely than not, even if you're careful, hence 2 stars.
