Amazon.com: The core cast of the classic British sitcom Are You Being Served? returns to run a country hotel in Grace & Favour (known in the U.S. as Are You Being Served? Again!). John Inman (as the deliciously fey Mr. Humphries), Mollie Sugden (imperious Mrs. Slocombe), Frank Thornton (snobbish Captain Peacock), Wendy Richard (cheerfully tart Miss Brahms), and Nicholas Smith (jug-eared Mr. Rumbold) transplant their Department-store banter to a small village manor house, where they grapple with such problems as a stolen gypsy cart, American tourists, a mummified cat, and the bubbly attentions of farmgirl Mavis (Fleur Bennett), who shares a warm bed with a dismayed Mr. Humphries. Some plot elements are labored (far, far too much is made of this bed-sharing) while others get tossed aside before they go anywhere (Mrs. Slocombe's husband, who left her 40 years before, appears for a single underdeveloped episode), and a few too many jokes are recycled from the previous series (including a lot of sexual double-entendres that don't quite fly when the cast is this long in the tooth). Nonetheless, the comic ensemble maintains their easy, enjoyable rapport, which is no small accomplishment. This series is unlikely to entice the uninitiated into the fold, but fans of Are You Being Served? will take to it like comfort food. --Bret Fetzer

Rating: - Are You Being Served AGAIN?
We were happy to find it in the catalogue of DVDs and have enjoyed it a lot. We had rented it earlier from NETFLIX . Michael O'Hara
Rating: - Are You Being Served, Again? or Grace In Favor?
Are you being served? Again! is not for everyone. As a fanatic about the 70's original series Are You Being Served? I thought I might try this follow up series.
Though funny in it's own right. The formula that had worked so well in the previous series was no longer there. For example, all of the former staff of Grace Brothers Department Store are no longer in any position of authority. Which doesn't allow for the jokes when it comes to going over another's head. Additionally, the cast has aged so that some of the sexual innuendo (references to Mrs. Slocomb's cat, for instance) no longer seem to make as much sense.
While the show is cute in its own right. I think that only the most devoted of Are You Being Served?'s following ought to purchase this dvd set.
Rating: - Great Show!
This show was the spin off of Are You Being Served. After young Mr. Grace passes away, the staff of the mens and ladies departments find out that they have inherited a country estate that is being run as a country inn. They go to view the property and decide to continue running it as a country inn. I loved the origianal show and loved this just as much. It was funny and witty.
