I love this show because it's witty, intelligent and just plain hilarious. I've watched every episode of this show and the eight season is truly the best. I think all of the characters are at their best and act funnier than in an any other season. Granted, they are funny in other episodes and seasons, but they really rock in the eight season. The plots are strong and very funny. I totally recommend it!!

Friends was a TV series that will live in our hearts and our minds forever. Having missed the first two seasons I began watching this show during season 3 and have never stopped since. During that time I joined the Army and missed a few seasons while in Iraq. However that's when I started my collection and am proud to say have seasons 1 through 7 on DVD, and on the list to recieve 8 from Amazon. Amazon has been great in letting me know release dates so I could preorder. Watching the DVDs while in Iraq always took me away and reminded me of home. That's the incredible impact this show has on people. I miss my Friends but the DVDs are the only way that I keep them with me. This way they will never grow old. So go out and buy season 8 it's one of the best!

Friends season 8 is definitely one of the greatest seasons of friends! It starts out with Monica and Chandler's wedding reception, and of course, no wedding with the Friends cast is ever "normal" (remember Barry and Mindy's wedding, season 2 or Ross and Emily's wedding, season 4?) Throughout the season, you learn more about the 6 friends, even when you think you know everything. I also think this is a great season because you see more of the inner emotions that Joey has. We see him really and truly fall in love, while before we don't get to see that side of him. It's such a fantastic season, and everyone should have it on dvd!! I know i preordered it in AUGUST because its just that great. Get it nowww!!

Lets face it, there are two kinds of people in the world, those who like Friends and those who hate it. I have grown up with this series on TV and have remained loyal even through the most mediocre of seasons (6,9 and parts of 10 spring to mind) but after watching the finale of season 8, I was just floored by how good the season had been. It was funny again, not just the kind of funny that makes you smile but makes you laugh out loud. My favorite episode from this season, other than the finale, has to be the one where Ross and Rachel pretend to be married. It not only provided us with some of the funniest moments of the season, but this episode like most others really delved into the relationship between Ross and Rachel. I think that relationship was the key ingredient to the season and it was really bittersweet. All that 'we were on a break' stuff was water under the bridge and all was good in Ross and Rachel Land again.
I will be at the store when it opens on Nov. 9 to buy this classic season. Could I be more into this show?

The eighth season of Friends finds the series rebounding strongly from a couple of good, but not great years. The series started picking up near the end of season seven with Monica (Courtney Cox) & Chandler's (Matthew Perry) wedding and the cliffhanger of one of the girls being pregnant. Season eight opens with the wedding reception in progress and it is discovered that Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) is the one pregnant. Rachel's pregnancy is the main storyline for the season. It is determined that Ross (David Schwimmer) is the father and this creates complications with Joey (Matt Le Blanc) who after living with Rachel develops feelings for her. The season's finale episode where Rachel finally has the baby has gone down as one of the best, if not the best episode, in the series' history. There are other hilarious episodes along the way including one where Chandler finds the soothing qualities of a bath with scented oils, one where Rachel tells Joey her boss is trying to buy her baby and Ross tries to retrieve his favorite shirt from his ex-girlfriend's apartment, the one where Joey & Rachel go on a date and Monica gets Chandler a Ms. Pac Man machine and the annual Thanksgiving episode in which Ms. Aniston's real life husband Brad Pitt guest stars as a fellow classmate and friend of Ross' from high school who started the We Hate Rachel club in high school. Other big guest stars include Sean Penn & Alec Baldwin. This was the only year that Friends would win the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series and Ms. Aniston won the Best Actress Emmy for her work.
