The sync worked a few times. the charger works all the time. The main problem with the sync is not the cradle but the Tungsten software and the 64 bit vista operating system on my laptop. When I used the 32bit operating system on my desk top, the syncing worked fine. In the end I had to use the bluetooth operation to sync. Rating: - All expectations accomplished Since quite before purchasing this gadget, I already knew it was a simple accessory with the solely purpose of sync and charge my handheld while keeping it organized vertically in a craddle. The craddle itself is very stylish, and the light is not annoying at all, as some other reviewers have been writing about, especially if you are working in a well-illuminated office -- this is my case. If you can organize the cables far or close enough from your USB port (the provided cables are too long, which can be necessary sometimes, but may also result in a messy desk if you work in a small place), you will have no significant problems on working with this craddle bounded to your desktop computer or even your laptop. I am not happy with the product at all. Rating: - Palm Charger Good product, can be used without the cradle, can be used to charge without the sync chord. Rating: - Poor results with LifeDrive My LifeDrive will not properly seat in the cradle. It keeps popping loose and causing both the PC and the Palm to go crazy. I got this cradle because the cable that came with the LifeDrive only makes a loose connection at best. But the cradle is worse than the factory cable. I don't know how to make the LifeDrive heavier without risking more problems. So now it is a paperweight. see more
