Don't expect some amazing burst of memories to flood in. Everyday life becomes easier to keep up with and it doesn't take so much effort to remember things, but that's about it. I bought mine to help remember dreams and it certainly does that for me, but I still say it should have a little stronger effect.

This product was purchased to relieve tinnitus and hopefully improve memory function. The package arrived undamaged and properly sealed, within three business days. There are many well documented cases, regarding the potential benefits of taking Ginkgo Biloba, over an extended period of time, such as sharper memory recall or increased blood flow to the brain. However, it seems advisable, to only take this supplement, after consulting a doctor. It may cause complications with existing medication and taking the time to research Ginkgo Biloba, to determine, whether it's appropriate for the individual consumer, should be done on a case by case basis.
This supplement did improve to a noticeable degree, the blood flow to the brain, which I suspect, helped me, with being more focused on individual, daily tasks. On the other hand, it did not alleviate the tinnitus. I think, that this product can bring something to the table and it certainly does have potential. In this reviewer's opinion, maximum results can best be achieved, when consumers, integrate Ginkgo Biloba, with a healthy diet, that is rich in fruits, vegetables and fish, as well as a daily exercise regimen.

i was impressed with the speedy shipment. i rec'd my order within 2 days of ordering. in comparing the strength of the pills, i have to take double the amount of pills each day to equal the pills i purchased at my local GNC store.

mental acuity has improved somewhat, energy levels are up, mr happy seems to be happier but this may be an illusion.

GUIDE FOR USING GINKGO BILOBA:
Unlike some other herbs, standardization is really essentially to insure getting enough of the active constituents of the ginko leaves, called flavone glycosides [24%] and terpene lactones [6%]. Without standardization you couldn't ingest the correct volume of the dried Ginkgo leaves, and you would be more prone to allergic or toxic reactions which the standardization process in this case corrects reliably.
40-80 mg. about 3 times a day as part of your herbal regime is about the usually dose according to Dr. James Duke's, "Herbal Handbook".
ABOUT BRANDS: SWANSON IS A BEST BUY - NOW & NATURE'S WAY ARE TOP QUALITY!
This particular Swanson brand product is the one currently on my shelf right now. The results are roughly equivalent to the results I experienced from the "Nature's Way" and "Now" Brands which I also highly regard. The difference here in these similarly standardized Ginko products is the price. The Swanson standardized Ginkgo is 60 mg. in each of the 240 capsules, std. for 24% flavone glycosides, and 6% terpene lactones is roughly half the price of the brands I named per volume of product from discount vendors also available here.
