I have had no sexual problems, but decided to try it out when I'm at my 20-something peak just to see how roudy I could get (along with other supplements). This works after a couple of days, but felt that it made me a bit shaky, sort of like being on caffeine (another common sexual stimulant). I also found that this helps me keep my energy up throughout the day as well (along with maca and B12). I am now currently using this as a supplement for my old daily coffee habit and have eliminated the grogginess that comes from coffee and have been able to keep my energy level lucid and stabalized for the full day (even when I have skipped a full night's rest).

I'm writing this review because I noticed at least one reviewer who thought yohimbe was merely a "placebo" and had "no effect", while another reviewer noted bad side-effects. While everyone reacts differently to chemicals (for some, one cup of strong coffee is too much, others hardly seem to be bothered by six cups), I would caution anyone taking this not to think that this supplement does not contain potent alkaloids. The most active is yohimbine, which is the main ingredient in several FDA approved prescription drugs (Yocon, Yohimex, etc) but in my experience the bark, which contains several other active alkaloids in addition to yohimbine, can be more potent and prosexual. Prior to Viagra, Yocon etc were among the few prescription choices for ED. However, while Viagra increases erections only if the man is already aroused, yohimbine actually can result in increased libido (making you feel "horny"). It is best to start with a very small dose and to realize that there can be an accumulative effect over weeks - too much can result in raised blood pressure, fast heart rate (like too much coffee) and anxiety, especially if you are prone to panic attacks. Some manufacturers of this herbal supplement seem unwilling to provide proper caution about only starting with a small dose, such as one-sixth or one-quarter of one tablet, until personal response can be gauged. This is no doubt why some reviewers gave it low marks - they didn't realize the recommended dose was too large. You should know that the effects of ingesting whole bark, versus making a tea from the raw bark (using vitamin C to help absorption) can be delayed. The delay can be for up to one to two hours, since the bark is being digested and absorbed more slowly. The effects can last from two to twelve hours depending on the dose and personal sensitivity. Do not take it if you are tired or need sleep, as larger doses will result in definite insomnia. The prosexual effects (assuming you don't take more than is comfortable for your body) can include spontaneous erections, increased libido and very powerful orgasms. In my experience these effects are quite noticeable and much more "drug like" (not subtle) than other supplements which claim to have an aphrodisiac effect. If you suffer from heart disease, HBP, or are not in good health, you should only use this product with caution and begin with only a small fraction of a dose since you do not want to have it increase heart rate or BP too much. I have seen prescription Yocon prescribed for men even after heart surgery, but as I say, the herbal product seems to have many more effects and the prescription drug is much more standardized. Again, the effects can be both immediate (within hours) and cumulative (if taken over several weeks - but beware of taking too much. Reduce dosage or stop taking it if unpleasant side effects occur).

Everything was fine with the vendor and the product, the only complaint that I have is that it was never mentioned that you should not use this product if you have high Blood pressure, this purchase was a waste of money for me.

This is by far one of the best sex enhancers on the market. I have tried almost all of them and the ones I buy and use regularly on a rotating basis are this one and tribulus terrestis, maca, dhea. They all work great but yohimbine is very potent and it is not recommended for long term daily use and don't take more than directed and I have found some that tell you to take too much so I use it a few weeks at a time then switch to some of the others and I have done this for years so if your not stupid and use some common sense to this stuff and can be of great benefit and as with anything it wont't work for everybody because everybody has a different body chemistry so you have to experiment to find what works best for you. If you have not tried it I highly recommend you at least try it.

Fast shipping. Product looks high quality. After taking pills, noticed a slight increase in sexual arousal but may have been more of a placebo effect than anything. I'm not sure the amount of yohimbine (active component of yohimbe bark) and if it is standardized amount. Cheap and may be somewhat beneficial but would recommend a medically standardized amount if you are serious about your erection quality.
