Product Description: When a rising exec becomes a whistleblower and gets more than he bargained for he turns the tables on corporate culture setting up shop as a stud-for-hire by impregnating welathy lesbians for 10000 dollars a pop. Studio: Sony Pictures Home Ent Release Date: 06/27/2006 Starring: Anthony Mackie Ellen Barkin Run time: 138 minutes Rating: R Director: Spike Lee
Amazon.com: In a long and varied career, She Hate Me is easily one of Spike Lee's most unusual films. On the one hand, it's a drama. On the other, it's a comedy. Then there's the structure: a crazy quilt made up out of several different stories. Even the style is a patchwork incorporating animation and pseudo-documentary--in the vein of Lee's 1986 hit She's Gotta Have It. It all revolves around one John Henry 'Jack' Armstrong (8 Mile's Anthony Mackie), a successful executive at a biotech company much like ImClone (the one that brought Martha Stewart down). When Jack blows the whistle and loses his job, ex-fiancée Fatima (Ray's Kerry Washington), who left him for another woman, offers the now-penniless Jack $10,000 to impregnate her. All goes well, so they set up business together, and he proceeds to impregnate countless gay women, including mafia princess Simona (Monica Bellucci). If there's one thing that keeps it all together, it's Mackie, who handles the many changes Lee puts him through with admirable aplomb. --Kathleen C. Fennessy

Excellent comedy movie with an underlying touch of questions on sexual morality or maybe sexual immortality?! We'll never govern mother nature, if you get "wet" or "hard, follow the urges of nature and f--k it! Great movie (smiles)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: - A Surprising Blend of Movie Genres.
I have never seen anything like this before. It is an interesting and thought provoking blend of genre movies. The themes in this movie are rarely addressed in a non-stereotypical manor.
The acting is great...all of the actors handled this unusual piece with
great skill...all at once mildly humorous and verfy poinient. This movie has been out a long time so I won't go into much detail here except to say
get this movie if you have not seen it.
I was struck by the lack of enlightenment among the many reviewers on this page. I would think that most adults are not aware that sexually amor
phous people do exist. The plot line of this movie is not nearly as silly
as many of my fellow writers seem to believe. I ask them to google "lesbian sexuality" and prepare to be amazed as I was...that is if
one delves into the data and first hand narratives of this fascinating group of people. I thought I knew about them but only had a head full of pop culture nonsense....also check out "10 Most Common Myths About Lesbians".
Rating: - GREAT JOB...SPIKE LEE....KEEP TELLING THE TRUTH
I absolutely love this film! I hate when people can not take a good movie a really give it the credit it deserves. I have watch so many BS movies that have went to the big screen and made millions of dollars and they were horrible. But think about it? It's all about the marketing. And this movie was and will be that little known GEM of a movie that has so many points of views in it that makes you think. I really didn't get Spike Lee movies until I became a little more mature in how people truely are and how this world really works. When your young and dumb you don't see it or face it as much. But, like in this movie Spike puts in government corruption, sex, discrimination, sexism and a world wind of provoking thought. When I first heard about the movie, I was not given any spoilers. I was just told "You gotta see this movie". And every since then, I have been hooked. Plus, Terance Blanchard (music composer) never ever fails to put this movie right were it belongs in the sense of mood and feel. Which only adds to the movie. I could go on and on about the various different breakdowns of how good this movie was. But I don't want to include any spoilers so I will keep it to myself. But, for the most part this movie is so multi-dimensional that, whoever gave this movie less than 3 or 4 stars needs to see a doctor. Because plain and simple, you just can't look at this movie as being one thing. That's what Spike Lee has been doing in his movies and that's what he will continue to do. ... Read More
Rating: - Great movie
Although this movie "She Hates Me" didnt do well at the box office, when it was out. This is a very well done movie by spike lee it brings up issues that has never been thought of this way. or if it has been thought of it has not been put in a black film quite like this. (smile)
I dont believe he was given enough credit for this one and personally I dont think many in the film world was ready for this one lol. This film is amazing I personally thought also this was one of his better films, right up there with the popular ones spike has done. I particularly took note of and enjoyed the powerful role women has in she hates me.
Rating: - She Hates Me DVD
This film depicted a situation that was quite radical; but given the appropriate circumstances, the results were incredible. The moral of the story may be different for different people, but I got it. This DVD is a permanent addition to my collection. For the right crowd (no children), it's a great "video party" movie.
