It turned out to be a great upgrade. The concave sides provide good grips so that there is less chance for accidents. The extra capacity is a big plus. I suppose it could just be faulty and I should send it back, but I have decided that by the time I've payed the shipping costs again that it would not be cost effective. The problem is that if you fill it up over the two cup line, all the water leaks out -ALL OVER YOUR COUNTER. Twice I found my Senseo sitting in a massive pool of water and it was still plugged in! (Not good!) I think it may have done damage to the coffee maker itself (REALLY not good). You may be wondering why I did not give it a lower rating . . it's because I still use the reservoir. It's all I have (the last one cracked). I just never fill it up more than half way and I always empty it as soon as I am done. Yes, it does defeat the purpose but that is what I will do for the love of my Senseo coffee! Rating: - Got a Senseo? You NEED this Love my Senseo, use Presto coffee holders and my own coffee. Was sick of refilling water again and again. This larger water reservoir keeps the refills to once a day. You can also tip it back to fill instead of removing every time. They should have engineered this coffee maker with the larger water capacity to begin with. Great for single people but the entire coffee maker and little coffee pods are really overpriced. So in conclusion Love it-Hate it. You shouldn't have to buy the extra equipment to make it right. Now you are really confused-my job is done.
