Editorial Review:
Product Description: The Original Basketball Return Net System keeps the ball on the court and away from landscaping and property. The Rolbak Net easily attaches to the base of any rim and the high tensile netting catches missed shots and lets them safely roll back to you. It can also help you get the most out of training time by allowing you concentrate on making shots and not on running after the ball. The Rolbak Basketball Return Net System is secured to the ground using sandbags, and the easy no-tools-required installation will have you up and making safely enclosed shots in minutes.

This product works exactly as you would expect it to work: it attaches to your basketball hoop to keep errant shots from going behind the basketball pole. In our case, it probably catches about 70% of these shots (high bounces off the rim usually carry to the outside of the net and are not caught).
The installation process is pretty straight forward with one exception: there are two straps set on either side of the rim that are supposed to go under and behind the backboard and tie off to the brackets holding the backboard. My basketball pole is the "Goaliath" series by "Goalrilla" and the placement of the brackets were two far away for the straps to reach. I had to add a small bracket to the bolts holding the rim in order to give the straps a place to attach. Not a huge issue, but inconvenient. Other than that, though, I have no issues with this system.

This was great idea - we staked it into the ground under the hoop and use it to prevent the ball from rolling away into the neighbors yard and plants rather than to have the ball roll back. About 95% of shots end up in the area covered so it was a great addition. Kind of expensive just for some netting - I suppose you could make something like this pretty easily if you are up for the task.
