What's in the Box? Inflatable boat, four oars, four oar locks, rope grab-line About Coleman The Coleman Company has been creating and innovating products for recreational outdoor use since W.C. Coleman started selling gasoline-powered lanterns in 1900. Inventor of the hugely popular fold-up camp stove, Coleman developed a plastic liner for his galvanized steel coolers in 1957--the birth of the modern cooler--and the company has been improving their utility and design ever since. The array of products that bear the Coleman name now includes just about everything you might need to work or play outdoors, from tents and sleeping bags to boats, backpacks, and furniture. ![]() Rating: - just what i neededthis raft is a good one for the price. the only negative is the oars are cheap and too short and i will be buying new ones. inflates quickly even with a hand pump and holds 2 adults comfortably. Its not possible to put four people in the raft as it advertises, maybe 3 small adults. The raft is more stable in the water than i expected it to be. Rating: - Decent for the price!Okay, as I'm sure everyone is aware of, this boat is rated 4 people by weight, not by volume. Some contents in the boat may have shifted during useage, resulting in less space than expected. I think this boat is a 2-2.5 person boat; meaning 2 people can fit in the boat with some gear if one of the individuals is holding the equipment the whole time. One thing I plan on doing before I next venture out again in this boat is buy an anchor! If it is windy, or there is a current, this boat tends to drift very easily. I took this boat fishing on a small lake, and I spent half the time rowing back out away from the shore! I'd get out to the drop-off, and after a few casts I found myself drifing back to shore! Due to the reasonable price, however, I can't really complain about much! Rating: - Decent product but made for two peopleI took this to the lake and it was pretty decent. Its not anything fast but holds it own and quick to inflate. Its made for 2 people (not four) but it could hold 3 little people. If you want something for a relaxing day or picnic on the lake or pond, then this is pretty cool. Rating: - reviewGreat & inexpensive inflatable raft - use it on the Yaak River with the grand kids for rafting and fishing. It's great that it comes with 4 oars - kids have that keen ability to lose an oar overboard. I purchased this raft without the dual air pump by Coleman. Big mistake. I have since ordered the pump and love it. It sure beats the other pumps I use -hand, foot and electrical. Rating: - Fun 2 person boatFinally got to take the boat out. First of all, ya gonna need bigger oars, secondly we are somewhat small people and don't think we could've squeezed two more people on this boat comfortably. Was on the river and what people pay to rent a canoe, we had bought this for the same. Would like to find someway to sit up a bit higher and to find a protective liner for those really shallow parts of rivers. Great fun and would recommend that pump, it only took less than a minute to inflate but my car tire pump didn't have it aired up in almost 2 hours. Browse for similar items by category:
