love the size and simplicity of the product but unfortunately at the end of the day, it didn't do the job. had a 8gb flash drive stick and 2 iphone chargers connected to it, it kept 'disconnecting' them. figured for the price it's worth a try but now, must find something else that actually allows me to use it.... bummed...

This USB hub is an excellent purchase for the price. The only features I would like is for it to be powered, but for a notebook it is a great purchase.

First off, I have two of these which I bought for my Dell laptop and they work well. Even though I bought mine at Wal-Mart, I am sure Amazon's work just as well. To this day, neither of them have ever stopped working. I am very satisfied with these USB hubs and highly recommend them. I believe that all of the USB ports are powered. Also, make sure to check the price at your local Wal-Mart because it will no doubt be less than it is on Amazon. Hope this helps.

I use this everyday at work because I treat my laptop as a PC most of the time. I have 2 hooked up to my usb ports and it's great. I have 2 printers, ergonomic keyboard, wireless mouse, speakers and stick drives plugged in, using every port (total of 8 with 2 put together) and it doesn't slow me down or put feedback or crackles in my speakers (Pleomax speakers... also recommend).

A simple hub that gets the job done. Works on Macs just fine. I would have liked the chord to have been longer than an inch and a half though.
