Description: Recorded live in New York City, Gilbert Gottfried tears down the walls of good taste in this hilarious, gleefully foul-mouthed performance! At his most shocking and hilarious, he builds to a now-legendary grand finale known as the Dirtiest Joke of All Time (featured in the hit film The Aristocrats)! Definitely not for kids... may even be unsuitable for adults! Includes over 30 minutes of jaw-dropping bonus features! An insane collection of impressions and intimate personal details about Gilbert that will not be found anywhere else. Bonus segments include: - How to tell a dirty joke - Intimate details about Gilbert's personal life - Fond recollections of famous friends like JFK, Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. and Charles Lindburgh - Gilbert on Brando - Gilbert on Groucho - Gilbert on Lugosi
Amazon.com: Gilbert Gottfried: Dirty Jokes is an unabashedly gleeful compendium of filthy gags, some as familiar as high school locker-room banter, some dusted off from Friars Club roasts, and others quite new and shocking. The squinting, gravel-voiced comedian, whose performance clip in The Aristocrats is a highlight of that film, dives into the deep end before a New York City crowd with one sick laugh after another, most having to do with sex (of course) though many others find sport with age, health, and religion. Nothing can be repeated here, but the one about the long-married Jewish guy who makes two requests of a genie is awfully good, while another about two old men sitting on a park bench is priceless. Nothing is off the table: traveling salesmen humor, dead hookers, the bear and the incompetent hunter (that one's priceless). Gottfried also treats the crowd to pretty good impressions of Bill Cosby, Alan King, Jackie Mason, and Jerry Seinfeld. The first dozen jokes might not break through one's defenses, but eventually Gottfried's persistence will. --Tom Keogh

Rating: - Funnier Than I Imagined
How funny can a guy telling 45 dirty be? The answer is very funny. Gilbert truly has the delivery of these down pat, and the material is top notch. It is often said that telling jokes on stage is comedy suicide... Gilbert breathes new life into the profession with this DVD however.
The Bonus material is priceless. I've seen few people who can improv on a topic like Gilbert can, he goes on and on and on with side splitting material.
Rating: - ONE OF THE RAUCHIESY AND FUNNIEST STAND-UPS IN A LONG TIME!
I have never been a big fan of Gilbert Gottfried but, I never hated him either. I do remember a small bit he did years ago about Moby Dick that I thought was hilarious but, that was about it. In this newer stand-up Gilbert takes a lot of old stale jokes and turns them into new fresh and often side splittingly funny routines. I was doubled over with laughter many times during this 48 minute set. This set is extremely dirty and we hear some of our favorite curse words frequently so, if the C or F word bothers you,........don't watch this! If they don't, then grab a beer and some friends and get ready to laugh your A** off! I rate it 4 1/2 stars
Rating: - The AFLAC Duck gets down and dirty
You absolutely must be a Gottfried fan to appreciate the humor in this DVD. You may also want to take a sterilizing bath after viewing it. Profane, infantile, but funny, the moments are memorable. You may not want to repeat any of these jokes, though.
Furthermore, watch this with a significant other if and only if she has a thick skin, having been raised in a family of boys, whose father was a truck driver and whose mother slung hash at a dive truckers avoid.
Rating: - A JEW? Guhsunteit!
Gilbert is a funny Jew. He tells stories about other funny Jews, like the Aristocrats. Listening to him tell jokes would make you want to be recircumcized, if you're not already. L'CHAlM GlLBERT!!! L'CHAlM!!!
Rating: - A SAD WASTE
This attempts to get some 'spin' off the fairly successful 'Aristocrats' and is supremely disappointing for anyone who enjoys Gottfried's special and original species of madness.
Considering it's been ages since Gilbert has committed a performance to tape or DVD - one would like for it to be his OWN material. He riffs and performs incessantly - you'd think he'd want to preserve 'the best of his best' for posterity.
