Rating: - Totally UN-Funny
I just got back from his Tempe Improv show, and I must say that disappointment was the only way to describe the show. I am a regular attendee at the Improv and this show was a disaster. If you are a member of the sub-100 IQ crowd; which there seemed to be many in attendance, then this show may have been funny to you. If you are a person of intellect then by all means avoid this comic like the plague as he has nothing to offer. The level of sophistication displayed by this comedian could only be described as pathetic. He continually made references to common occurrences and then explained the outcome for the audience. If you need to be spoon fed humor, then please come and get your fill. Albeit, I do not have an opinion against gay humor, I was a little put off by the constant gay rhetoric; much like a Jewish person constantly putting Jew in every other sentence as if it defines them or their humor. I left the comedy club wishing I could get that hour back. Everywhere I read about this comedian it seemed to be positive, so I thought I would add balance to the bullcrap. This guy should have an 8 drink minimum.
Rating: - More Daniel Tosh, please!
I bought this simply because it was recommended, and I thought I would take a risk. This risk paid off big time. Laugh out loud funny. He reminds me of Brian Regan, Jim Gaffigan, Dave Attell, and Dane Cook. Really funny. I will be looking to see him live.
Rating: - FUNNY!!!!
Remember this guy's name. You'll be hearing alot from him because he is really funny. Young, smart, clever and i really laughed. He's not your parent's comic. He is edgier and funnier! Buy it, you'll love it.
Rating: - Spot on funny
Daniel Tosh's musings are crude, yet witty. The world according to Tosh would contain basketball-boxing as well as bigger, stronger, faster athletes. I'm not normally a comedy buff, but Daniel Tosh had my entire family rolling on the floor laughing. This is a great CD!
Rating: - More Dave Attell than Dane Cook
This is one very funny concert, probably because he does push the limits. I have heard some people in here compare him to Dane Cook. Uhhh, I have a copy of Dane Cook's CDs and this one by Tosh is way funnier. Whereas Cook relies on being a cool buddy to the audience and relaying longwinded and contrived stories, Tosh tells jokes and he pushes the audience by saying things he knows they think are funny, but are perhaps a little afraid to laugh at in public. The smart humor had me just thinking more about Dave Attell, than Dane Cook.
