Rating: - Terrific Value from OEM Brother Drums I'm surprised to see the negative reviews for the Brother brand drums. I'm on my second MFC all-in-one device. My first one gave me reliable use to 78,000 copies before it croaked (bad fuser) and I immediately went out and bought another Brother to replace it. The MFC-8860DN is my current model and I've already logged 26,000 copies on it. Over the last few hundred copies, it started making a grinding noise and slightly wrinkling my copies, so knowing it was time for drum replacement, went ahead and ordered one. I once tried a 'refurbished' or aftermarket version which didn't hold up for 10,000 copies, so I've stuck with the Brother brand when it comes to Drums. I consistently got 20,000 copies on my last printer drums, and got 25,000 on this one. I don't know what more you can expect at this price point! I did NOT buy my drum from this website, as I found it for less elsewhere. I like brother printers because the toner cartridges are so easy to refill! I buy toner by the bulk off an auction site, and I'm able to refill each cartridge about 3 times before I begin to see a quality loss. Between the low toner cost and the high output of original OEM Brother drums, I'm skating out cheap! Quality is top notch.
