Rating: - Sesame Beginnngs-Beginning Together
This is a really cute dvd for babies. The Sesame characters are all babies. I bought it for my 5 month old. It's only about 20mins long so not too much tv! It's really cute, has music and movement. It also shows how the Sesame Street characters met each other for the first time so if your child continues to watch Sesame Street they'll have all the background!
Rating: - Great Fun for children and parents!
I think these videos are wonderful, and very educational. I watch them with my daughter. I love to watch her smile and laugh at the baby characters. I recommend them to everyone. I loved sesame street when I was growing up. Now she can enjoy them too.
Rating: - I love it!
A great way to acclimate your kids to the wonders of sweet, hypnotic television graphics. Odds are they'll be a couch potato anyway, you may as well start them early.
Don't listen to those fancy-pants pediatricians!
Rating: - Not for me
My son didn't care too much for it & the high pitched squeaky voices were too much for me to handle.
Rating: - Parts are good, more for parents
It starts with the doctor introducing herself three times before the kids part starts, then lecture on interacting with your baby. Then 1/2 the video is adults doing the things the cartoon characters talk or sing about. My baby lost interest before the fun part even started. When I finally got him to watch it, it switched from all the bright colors to the parents reading or talking to their kids, and he lost interest again. If it was just the bright colored characters and less of the adults showing you or telling you, it might be better. Babies like to watch other babies, but adults reading or talking just isn't that interesting to them in a video. It's not one of our favorites because of that.
