Editorial Review:
Description: Little Manhattan is a feel-good comedy that's perfect for kids and adults alike. In a city known for excitement, two young friends are about to embark on the greatest adventure of all. Gabe (Josh Hutcherson) and Rosemary (newcomer Charlie Ray) have known each other nearly all of their lives, but when they come face-to-face in a karate class, they see each other in a whole new light. Filled with all the magical, marvelous?and maddening?moments of first love, this charming film is fun for the whole family!

Rating: - Fantastically cute!
This movie has not only reminded me the first time I fell in love (all the nausea associated with that) but it also made it clear that these feelings do not leave you even as an adult. I think anyone who has ever been in love should see this movie, from ages 10 to 100!
Rating: - great family movie
This movie arrived in very good condition and I recommend it highly as a great family movie.
Rating: - Lessons in Love.
Gabriel Burton is a 9 1/2 (or is it 10?) year old boy who falls hard for his classmate, Rosemary Tolesco. Throughout the scenes the movie gives you insight on what Gabe is thinking and this is actually where a lot of the humor comes from. If it's not his point of view, it's something that simply happens such as Gabe crying over her or him falling off of his little scooter.
I actually like the ending of this movie because it's not typical. But before this review ends I must say that most of the actors especially Gabe did a great job acting. Rosemary showed realistic emotion when she and Gabe hit a disagreement too. She's such a cute little girl.
4 stars.
Rating: - As Good As Bridge To Terabithia
Josh Hutcherson is phenomenal in this role. He might be young but his character is someone we can all relate to. Any fan of his needs to see this movie.
Charley Ray is cute and easily Josh's equal in acting. She's sort of Hollywood's underused tween as she is just as talented as any young girl out there but only in one movie. It's a damn shame.
Rating: - A must-see feel good movie!
This movie has so much charm from start to finish. Many scenes had me laughing out loud, others were poignant and touching, and brought tears to my eyes. I feel Josh Hutcherson is a natural, whose innate talent shines through. The little girl was very sweet as well. The movie is very down to earth and believable, and so heartwarming. In some ways it's reminescent of films such as My Girl. As much as I loved My Girl, this seemed to capture my heart even more. I'd venture a guess that everyone of all ages, young and old will enjoy this movie. It's become one of my all-time favorites, which I'll love watching over again.
