Editorial Review:
Product Description: Receive a wealth of information at once from "Oscar" the forecaster, a friendly character featured in the center of this desktop weather station. This atomic clock weather station displays (in large, easy to read digits) inside and outside temperatures, as well as inside humidity. It even calculates sunrise and sunset, displays radio controlled time and date, and automatically updates for daylight savings time. Set the built-in alarm for important appointments. Depending on the weather conditions, "Oscar" is programmed in 15 various icons to reflect the weather, from bundled up for cold, to holding an umbrella for rain, wearing a swimsuit for sun, etc. Assembly level/degree of difficulty: No Assembly Required.

this product works, but not as I thought it would when I purchased it. First of all, it is very small, and thick. I could probably fit it into my back pocket. The reason why I purchased it is so that I could tell the outside temperature, and know the current conditions. Also, I though that the man showing what to wear was pretty cool. When I got it, I found out that only one small section of it actually tells you about the weather and just the temperature. The "what you should wear" man shows you what to wear currently, and not in the future. It does not have anything other than the teperature, not even the humidity or barometer reading.
On the bright side, the temperature is normally approximate, and can be two or three degrees off, not too much though as long as you keep it out of direct sunlight or rain. The indoor temerature is always very accurate, and the clock works well. The sunrise and set feature is great, it is right (as far as I know) all of the time. One great feature about it is that the thermometer and the station and get pretty far away from each other and still stay in range. ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING!! MAKE SURE TO NOT PUT IT ON A WALL SEPERATING THE INSIDE OF THE HOUSE FROM THE OUTSIDE! The first couple of weeks I had it I had the thermometer up against a wall of the house outside, and the reading would sometimes be five degrees off, and I thought that it was a flaw in the product- I later found out that the reason why it was saying it was warmer outside was because it was getting some of the heat from the other side of the wall, inside the house. I later moved it and the reading rapidly went down and became much more accurate.
In all, I give the product three stars, probably about a six out of ten.

It works fine, but it's much smaller than I expected. Read the specs carefully! Being a geezer, the small display is an issue. The goofball image in the center doesn't help me much. Its dress is suppose to tell you the weather conditions.

my old sensor dead after 4 years usage, instead of buying the replacement sensor for fourteen dollars, I choose to buy another set for twenty five dollars with the same model of sensor so my old receiver can still function.
I put the new receiver upstair, outside the be drooms, so everybody can see it. the new receiver display more information than my old one, it works like a weather forecaster, I can prepare for the weather change

I don't know if it works yet, but the set up and instructions are terrible. I would not recommend this product based on this. I had another one by a different manufactuer and it was very simple to set up. This one is frustrating to the point you just hope you get the tempretures. As with me after about a half hour I gave up on the set up. Doubt it is accurate.

I purchased the weather station and 2 additional remotes giving 4 different temp readings. When placed side by side none agreed with each other. The range is also not as advertised. The unit often loses contact with the remote in the garage, about 40 feet away. The display is a bit silly, what is the use of a decimal point reading for temp when it isn't accurate within 2 degrees (or maybe more) and lastly, who on earth would define the date October 10th as 1110?
