I bought this mainly for clean up my pool in the backyard when I need to drag the vacuum arround. It works OK but the mask is a little short for my face and keep pushing my nose up and after a while it is painful. I still not get use to breath using the tube because water can get into it easily.

I plan to swim the crawl at the surface with this and go further and breathe better.
The set is marvelous!
If I do dive, I can blow the water out of the tube when I reach the surface.

Swim fins and snorkel were great. Mask was okay, but a little uncomfortable after an hour or so in the water. Overall a very good deal at the price.

Lovely set and a great deal for the money, but the flippers were very stiff and inflexible. Made my feet feel like they could cause a cramp at anytime- not the safest feeling in the water. Flippers felt very unnatural in the water. I prefer a more pliable-flexible flipper that moves with the motion of your leg...these don't. I just didn't feel the power behind a kick because of the stiffness. Did not try the mask on but it looked of very nice quality.

From reading the reviews, I think some people were expecting $100 quality in a $30 snorkling set. Admittedly, it has been a few decades since I last did any snorkling, but this set works great and you can't beat the price.
We bought three sets -- two size medium and one size x-large -- and we've used them all summer for snorkling in Lake Superior's fantastic waters. The only failure was that one of the clips holding the snorkle to the mask's band broke. And that's easily fixed with a rubber band.
As for the snorkle filling with water, that's really not a problem. When you come to the surface, just let loose one sharp exhalation...and the water's gone through the one-way valve at the bottom of the U-bend. Works just fine every time.
The fins provide plenty of forward speed for minimal effort. Much better than the last ones I owned decades ago.
If you want or need better performance, there are plenty of sets that could provide it. But you'll have to spend at least double the price of this great set.
