So here are the five things *I* like best about it: It's small and lightweight and goes right into my shirt pocket. It's inexpensive so if i lose or break it or if it is stolen no big deal. It easy to use, has good sound, and the controls are so easy and manageable that I don't have to pull it out of my pocket to use them. Of course, not everyone is going to feel that no-frills is the way to go. But if you do like it simple, prefer Apple products, and either don't want to or can't spend a lot of money, I believe you'll be happy with the Shuffle.
